(Garden City, NY) On Tuesday, the Men's Lacrosse Team suited up against conference rival Suffolk for their first home match of the 2021 season.
Nassau didn't waste any time having the ball find the back of the net. Sophomore
Matt Russo kicked things off for the Lions scoring their first of many goals just under the 13 minute mark. They scored 3 more goals in the first quarter to make the score 4-0.
In the second quarter, within a matter of seconds Nassau scored 2 additional goals to put them up 6-0. Only a minute later, Freshman
Patrick McAleavey scored again. Just under the 3 minute mark, the Sharks snuck in 2 goals, but the deficit continued to climb. With 1 minute left in the second quarter
Matt Russo struck again, making the score 9-2 going into halftime.
The Lions continued to pour it on thick, showing no mercy in the third quarter. #45
Miles Tillman had an incredible behind the back slant for Nassau's 13th goal. Other scorers of the quarter were

Suffolk continued to fight, but they were no match for the Lions tonight. There were 4 additional goals in the fourth quarter to officially shut down the Sharks. The final score was 25-3.
Nassau will hit the road to take on Tompkins Cortland in Accord, NY on Sunday, April 11th at 1 PM ET.
