Lions advance to Final four

The Lions went traveled to Syracuse to take on the Onondaga Lazers in the NJCAA Men's Lacrosse National Championship Quarterfinals with the winner punching their ticket to the Final Four hosted at Nassau Community College in Garden City, New York. This game would be a regular season rematch between the two teams that saw Onondaga best the Lions by a score of 6-8. The game opened up with Onondaga getting on the board five minutes in, however Sean Rice (Assist by Kamryn Gill) would get it back less than a minute later to tie the game at one a piece. Onondaga would gain the lead back with seven minutes left in the first quarter, but again the Lions would respond in less than a minute with a Ryan Murphy goal (Assist by Sean Rice). The Lions would close out the first quarter with the lead as with two minutes left Kamryn Gill (Assist by Brian Pohoreckyj) to put the Lions up 3-2. The second quarter saw Onondaga in control as they managed to score three unanswered goals. But Frank Falco would manage to score for the Lions with 13 seconds left in the half to bring the halftime score to 4-5 with Onondaga in the lead. The third quarter saw Onondaga come out put another one on the board to bring the score to 4-6. But the Lions would bounce back hard as they went on to score four unanswered goals coming from the sticks of Frank Falco (Jordan McCoy), Kamryn Gill (Sean Rice ),  Frank Falco (unassisted), and Kamryn Gill (Sean Rice). This gave The Lions the 8-6 lead entering the fourth quarter. Although in the final quarter the Lions did not manage to get on the scoreboard they only allowed one Onondaga goal with very clutch saves  from Goalie, Andrew Tittman who saved 23/30 shots faced. The Lions had won the game 8-7 and are now in the Final Four where they will play the #1 seeded Harford in the Semi-Final game with the winner playing in the National Championship game against the winner of #2 CCBC Essex v. #3 Howard.
