On Saturday, October 26, 2024, Nassau Community College hosted an exhilarating Homecoming football game against Hudson Valley Community College. The atmosphere was electric as students, alumni, and faculty gathered to celebrate school spirit and community pride.

The halftime show was a special highlight of the day, honoring NCC faculty members who have made significant contributions to the college and its students. Selected by the football players, these honorees were recognized for their dedication and impact on the NCC community. Their commitment to education and student development was celebrated, reminding everyone of the integral role faculty play in shaping the college experience.

In addition to honoring faculty, the halftime show also honored women's wrestler Samantha Dimilia who placed fourth in the nation at last years women's wrestling national tournament, Women's Wrestling Head Coach as well as NCC Alumnus Nicholas Casella was also celebrated. The men's lacrosse team was also honored for their top four finish nationally last year as well. The recognition of these teams highlighted the diverse athletic programs at NCC and the commitment to fostering a well-rounded collegiate experience.
