With a 17-2-2 overall record last season, and an appearance in the 2023 NJCAA National Championship, the Nassau Community College men's soccer team is ranked fourth in the 2024 NJCAA Division III Preseason Poll.

Last year, the Lions finished the regular season with a 14-0-2 record, and 11-0-1 in Region XV conference play. Nassau defeated Kingsborough Community College 6-0 in the Region XV Tournament semifinal game, and defeated Suffolk County Community College 3-0 in the final round to claim the Region XV Championship title and a spot in the national tournament.

At nationals, the Lions earned a 1-0 victory in double overtime in the opening round against Bunker Hill Community College, before falling to Mohawk Valley Community College in the semifinal game. Nassau finished the season with the most goals and assists in the NJCAA with 118 and 109, respectively.

Head coach Dan Fisher will be entering his 20th season leading Nassau Community College. Fisher has been named the Region XV Coach of the Year 11 times, as well as the 2015 National Coach of the Year. First Team All-American Marc Augustin will be returning as Nassau's leading scorer with 26 goals last season, ranked third in the nation. Matteo Kanakaris led the team with 14 assists and tied for third in the nation, will also return to the field for the Lions.
