Lions Baseball Players Earn Division III Region 15 All-Region Honors
The Nassau Community College Lions Baseball Team proudly announces several players who have been recognized with Division III Region 15 All-Region awards, reflecting their outstanding performances and contributions throughout the season.
First Team All-Region

Michael Jazylo – Infielder
Michael demonstrated exceptional skill both offensively and defensively, batting .305 with 2 home runs and 20 RBIs over the season. His steady presence in the infield and clutch hitting were critical in numerous wins, establishing him as a cornerstone of the Lions' lineup.
Second Team All-Region

Michael Jazylo – Pitcher
In addition to his infield duties, Michael excelled on the mound with a solid pitching record. He appeared in 7 games, posting a 1.50 ERA with 28 strikeouts, showcasing his versatility and value as a dual-threat player.

Brian Chin – Pitcher
Brian brought consistency to the pitching staff with a 3.12 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 8 appearances. His ability to keep opponents off-balance was a key factor in many Lions victories this season.

Raymond Scalzo – Relief Pitcher
Raymond was a reliable arm out of the bullpen, maintaining a 2.45 ERA across 10 relief appearances. His effective pitching in high-pressure situations helped the team close out tight games.

Daniel Reynolds – Outfielder
Daniel contributed significantly in the outfield and at the plate, batting .275 with 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. His defensive range and smart baserunning added depth and energy to the Lions' lineup.
Sportsmanship Team

Nicholas Pugliese
Nicholas earned recognition for his leadership and sportsmanship throughout the season. His positive attitude and team-first mentality made him a respected member of the Lions.
