Nassau Community College Outdoor Track & Field is headed to the national stage, as a strong group of Lions have officially qualified for the NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. After a consistent and competitive spring season, Nassau will be represented across sprints, middle distance, relays, and field events.
Sprint Events
Nassau's sprint group has been a major strength throughout the season, led by standout performances in both short and long sprints.

Ahmad Crosby qualified in the 100m with a time of 11.21 at the CCSU Invite

Jaidyn Lacey also earned a spot in the 100m (11.44)
In the 400m,
Jayden Ashley (51.41) and
Cahill Louis (52.43) will represent the Lions
This group brings both speed and depth, giving Nassau multiple scoring opportunities in the sprint events.
Middle Distance & Hurdles
Nassau will also be well represented in the middle-distance and hurdle events.

Jeremaiyh Burch enters the 800m with an impressive qualifying time of 1:51.62

Mark Roberts qualified in the 400m hurdles with a time of 57.13
Both athletes have been key contributors all season and will look to carry that momentum into nationals.
Relay Teams
The Lions' relay teams have been among the most competitive units this season and will play a crucial role at the national meet.
- The 4x100 relay team posted a time of 43.24 at the Tom Farrell Classic
- Rotation includes Crosby, Lacey, Roberts, Lisbon, Louis, Johnson, and Ashley
- The 4x400 relay team clocked 3:27.42 at the Pratt Invitational
- Lineup includes Roberts, Ashley, Louis, Burch, Crosby, Lacey, and Khasim Plowden
With strong chemistry and depth, both relay squads are positioned to compete for top finishes.
Field Events
Nassau will also make its presence felt in the field events.

Paris Johnson qualified in the high jump with a mark of 1.88m

Shamir Lisbon earned his spot in the long jump with a jump of 7.02m
These performances add valuable scoring potential for the Lions.
Ready for Nationals
With qualifiers across multiple events, Nassau Community College enters the NJCAA Division III Outdoor Championships with a balanced and competitive roster. The combination of speed, endurance, and field event strength gives the Lions the opportunity to make a strong impact on the national stage.
As the team prepares for competition, Nassau looks to build on a successful season and compete among the best in the country May 5th- May 9th in Utica, NY.
