Nassau Community College Men's Lacrosse Announces Coaching Staff Updates

Brian Mangan Elevated to Associate Head Coach
Brian Mangan, who joined NCC as Defensive Coordinator in the fall of 2023, has been promoted to Associate Head Coach. Under his leadership, the defense has demonstrated remarkable improvement, contributing to the team's recent successes. Head Coach

Mike Cama Appointed as Faceoff Coach
Joining the staff is Mike Cama, who will serve as the Faceoff Coach. A distinguished alumnus of LIU Post, Cama was a three-time All-American from 2006 to 2010. He led the nation in faceoff win percentage (.685) and was second overall in ground balls per game during his collegiate career. Cama's expertise in faceoffs is expected to enhance NCC's midfield performance significantly.
Chris Tempone Returns as Assistant Offensive Coordinator and Recruiter
NCC also welcomes back Coach Chris Tempone as Assistant Offensive Coordinator and Recruiter. Entering his 12th season at the college level, Tempone has previously contributed to NCC's program and has experience launching men's lacrosse programs at ASA Community College and the University of Bridgeport. His extensive coaching background and recruiting acumen are valuable assets to the team's offensive development.
