Nassau Community College baseball earned six All-Region XV selections following a competitive 2026 season, with the Lions represented across multiple positions on both the First and Second Team rosters. Leading the way, catcher Caiden Siegel and outfielder Daniel Reynolds earned First Team honors, while pitcher Michael Jazylo, reliever Chris Marano, infielder Zaim Deljanin, and outfielder Patrick Sebber were each named to the Second Team.

Siegel headlined Nassau's accolades, earning not only First Team All-Region recognition but also the prestigious Gold Glove Award as the top defensive catcher in Region XV — a distinction that speaks to his excellence on both sides of the ball. At the plate, the sophomore slashed .403/.524/.629 across 21 games, driving in 21 runs while scoring 21 and adding three home runs. His .524 on-base percentage ranked among the best in the region, and his ability to get on base consistently made him one of the most dangerous hitters in the Nassau lineup. Behind the plate, his Gold Glove selection confirmed what opponents already knew — Siegel is one of the premier catchers in junior college baseball.

Reynolds was equally impressive in his First Team campaign, appearing in 27 games and batting .396 with a .482 on-base percentage. The sophomore outfielder collected 38 hits, scored 28 runs, and drove in 25, while showcasing his speed on the bases with 17 stolen bases — ranking him among the top base stealers in the NJCAA. His two triples ranked in the top 100 nationally, and his all-around offensive game made him one of the most dynamic players in the region all season long.

Deljanin brought power and versatility to the Nassau infield, earning Second Team honors after slashing .351/.435/.635 in 24 games. His .635 slugging percentage ranked among the top 75 in the country, fueled by four home runs, five extra-base hits including two triples, and 17 runs scored. Despite playing in fewer games than many of his peers, Deljanin's ability to do damage at the plate in big moments made him one of the most feared hitters in the middle of the Nassau order.

Sebber was a model of consistency throughout the season, batting .386 with a .500 on-base percentage across 26 games. The sophomore outfielder recorded 34 hits, drove in 28 runs, and scored 28, while adding five triples — a mark that ranked in the top 10 nationally. His 15 stolen bases further demonstrated his ability to impact the game in multiple ways, and his .580 slugging percentage reflected his knack for finding gaps and stretching singles into extra bases.

Jazylo earned his Second Team selection as a two-way contributor, making an impact both on the mound and at the plate. As a pitcher, he made several key starts throughout the season, highlighted by a dominant five-inning, six-strikeout performance against Queensborough in a 12-0 victory and a strong four-inning outing against BMCC in which he struck out eight. At the plate, Jazylo batted .281 with a .438 on-base percentage, scoring 19 runs and driving in 12 while adding five stolen bases across 27 games — demonstrating the kind of two-way versatility that makes him a valuable asset to the Lions.

Marano was a dependable force out of the Nassau bullpen, appearing in 12 games without a single start and finishing with a 3.86 ERA across 18.2 innings of work. The freshman reliever struck out 27 batters — averaging an impressive 13.02 strikeouts per nine innings — while recording two wins and a save. His ability to come into games and immediately miss bats made him one of the most effective relievers in the region, and his Second Team selection recognized the impact he had on Nassau's pitching staff all season long.
Together, Nassau's six All-Region selections reflect the depth and talent that defined the Lions throughout the 2026 season. From the power and defense of Siegel behind the plate, to the speed and on-base ability of Reynolds and Sebber in the outfield, to the offensive punch of Deljianin and the two-way contributions of Jazylo, Nassau proved itself as one of the premier programs in Region XV this season.
