The 2025-26 men's basketball team ended the season with a 14-11 overall record and 14-6 in Region XV conference play, earning the #4 seed in playoffs before falling in the quarterfinal round. Two Nassau players were recognized for their exceptional performances throughout the season. Here are the key award winners from Nassau Community College:
Freshman, Guard - Mcbeth Jr led Nassau in points and three-pointers made. He averaged 18.3 points per game, and totaled 33 assists with 37 steals. He made 89 three-pointers, averaging 3.9 from behind the arc per game. He had seven games with five or more three-pointers made, with a season high of 9 made against Sullivan, also good for his season high 39 points in that game. During the season, Mcbeth was named NJCAA Player of the Week and Region XV Player of the Month.
Sophomore, Forward - Martin appeared in 21 games for the Lions, averaging 3.8 points and 4 rebounds. His season high came against Kingsborough with 13 points, narrowly missing a double-double with 9 rebounds.
